ABOUT THE JOB
You will work inside the Electrical Section, that is responsible for designing electrical systems of medium, large and complex projects.
The role of the Electrical Engineer Junior within the Electrical section implies developing the assigned tasks under the guidance from the other Seniors of the discipline; work is periodically reviewed by the Lead Electrical Engineer or Team Leader, to verify the accomplishment of objectives. You will be progressively assigned with tasks with higher level of complexity and interfaces.
The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Preparation of project technical specifications in line with Project/Client requirements;
* Meet Project quality and HSE objectives;
* Ensure an appropriate reporting on assigned engineering/requisitioning activities to the Lead Electrical Engineer/Team Leader;
* Interface with other discipline engineers
* Preparation and/or check of Single Line Diagrams, Area Classification drawings, Grounding System layouts, Panel/Cable schedules, Equipment layouts, Cable layouts, Lighting system layouts and Electrical installation details
* Perform power system studies (short circuit, load flow, motor starting, arc flash, harmonic analysis) using ETAP or equivalent software.
* Perform calculations for main electrical equipment sizing, UPS sizing, Cables sizing, Lighting system, Grounding and Lightning system and Heat tracing system.
* Prepare Electrical Equipment Material Requisitions and Data sheets
* Review Vendor Bids and prepare Technical Bids Evaluation.
* Ensure proper communication with Vendors and technical follow up of the orders
* Review Vendor Drawings.
You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend to technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshops, move to other operating centers and join our colleagues overseas. Occasionally you will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities related to the Electrical discipline directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities .

ABOUT YOU
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Qualifications: Master degree in Electrical Engineering
Languages: English fluent
MAIN SKILLS :
* Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the design team in the resolution of project related issues, in an international and multi-cultural environment
* High interest with respect to the current Energy transition challenges and Digital transformation process
* Availability to international mobility for either short or long term assignment
* Previous experience of at 1-2 years in detailed engineering and design of electrical systems for Refinery / Gas / Power / Renewables / Infrastructure projects in similar position is a plus
* Solid knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies will be highly appreciated
* Advanced knowledge of Excel/VBA/Query and Database management is a plus
* Self-motivated, results oriented and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast paced multi-disciplinary team environment
