Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing plant in Merlino (LO). The candidate will perform mechanical maintenance activities, both preventive and reactive, to ensure the proper functioning of machinery and equipment used in production, facilitating smooth operations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with electrical maintenance teams to plan and optimize work phases.
Identify mechanical faults in machinery components.
Disassemble machine parts to diagnose faults and minimize downtime.
Perform alignment operations on motors, pumps, transmission shafts, and rotating parts.
Assist machine operators during restart procedures after faults.
Manage the spare parts inventory for mechanical components.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, technical drawing, transmission devices, electromechanical and industrial systems, health and safety regulations, and quality procedures.
Skills in applying preventive maintenance procedures, operational planning, component replacement, and safety procedures during maintenance activities.
Proficiency in mounting rotating mechanical parts like bearings, clutches, brakes, and mechanical joints.
Use of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, goniometers, and comparators.
Operational knowledge of machine tools and arc welding.
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Previous experience in the field.
