Working at HuFriedyGroup is so much more than a job, as every employee has a part in driving and supporting the organization’s inspirational vision to be a global force in advancing dental performance through Best-In-Practice dentistry that improves lives around the world. /ppJOB PURPOSE: /ppThe role of the Payroll Intern is to provide an all-round support to the HR and Finance department in Payroll processing, Time Attendance, administer workforce, administer benefits policies, answering employee inquiries, G/L entries and reconciliations, employee relations and file maintenance. /ppESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: /pulliSet up and maintain files on all new employees and terminated employees. /liliMaintain time clocks and associated software to gather timely Time Attendance data. /liliCollect, control and administer Travel Expenses claims. /liliProvide support in monitoring and control Payroll process cycles. /liliInteract with ADP payroll provider to collect and validate data (TA, TE, Compensation, Allowances, rewards, bonus, others). /liliHandle various payroll adjustments (i.e., shortages, garnishments, and bonus pay). /liliPrepare and maintain non-wage compensation entries and files (education assistance, group-term life, sales prizes, employee excellence awards, personal use of company car, moving expenses). /liliPrepare monthly payroll summary information for entry to General Ledger. /liliPrepare periodic payroll related analyses and reports as requested by Managers. /liliProvide general administration and Human Resources support. /liliAnswer routine inquiries from outside the company on employment verifications. /liliProvide assistance in the design and administration of the company’s benefit programs. This includes answering employee questions, day-to-day benefit administration, new hire orientation, Leave of Absence administration. /liliPrepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes and deductions. /liliInteract independently with supervisors, personnel department, outside payroll service, and other related providers and professional services. /liliTrack and process taxable fringe benefits. /liliTrack vacation eligibility and vacation balances. /liliReconcile payroll GL accounts. /liliAssure Journal entries about TE and HR costs. /liliCalculate, control and file employee wage verifications. /liliAssists in the analysis of HR data and implementation of the annual merit program. /li /ulpQUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: /ppEducation and qualification: /pulliBachelor’s Degree. /liliQualified Payroll or equivalent is required with two to three years of relevant experience. /liliIntermediate knowledge of Excel. /liliDetail and Process oriented. /liliStrong sense of urgency and follow up skills. /liliMultinational experience with manufacturing companies is a plus. /liliPosition requires good interpersonal skills in dealing with team members at all levels in the company. /liliAbility to multitask and willingness to take on new responsibilities. /liliSome level of verbal and written communication skills in English required. /li /ul
