Service Technician
Mission
The mission is to ensure customer satisfaction by resolving technical problems safely, quickly, and reliably on-site or at the workshop. This involves providing professional analyses, guidance, and follow-up with our business partners and key accounts in coordination with our technical support and operations teams.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare repair or maintenance proposals
* Conduct in-depth engine troubleshooting
* Repair and overhaul diesel engines
* Prepare technical proposals for customers and internal stakeholders
* Prepare spare parts proposals for customers or internal stakeholders
* Coordinate equipment commissioning and provide support on basic user training
* Instruct and train customer users or technicians on product utilization, equipment service, and maintenance needs
* Lead and implement equipment inspections and advise customers accordingly
* Ensure safety and health of yourself and others during work activities
* Travel within Italy and Malta
* Follow SHEQ guidelines and use the TIA App responsibly
Requirements
* Over 5 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment
* Over 3 years of experience with engine troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills with expertise in industrial equipment maintenance, overhaul, and repair
* Knowledge of portable compressors, generators, and pumps is a plus
* Proactive problem-solving approach
* Knowledge of MS Windows packages
* Native Italian speaker and proficient in English; additional languages are a plus
* Certification or training in diesel engines is a plus
* Flexibility to travel across Italy and Malta
* Driver's license
