Reporting to: Legal Counsel Based in: Roma, Italy What will you do? Role Overview: as a Junior Lawyer at our company, you will play a crucial role in assisting the local subsidiaries in the legal management of the development and construction of the projects in our portfolio and will report to the Senior Legal Counsel. Contract Management: draft, review, and negotiate the contracts related to solar energy projects and batteries, including real estate agreements, EPCs and O&M contracts, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and service contracts. Legal Support: identify and advise on legal risks associated with project development, construction and operations, proposing mitigation strategies to manage such risks effectively; assistance in the due diligence activities in relation to M&A and financing transactions. Stakeholder Engagement: liaise with internal teams, external counsels and other stakeholders to facilitate project development. Houskeeping : management of corporate books, PoAs, incorporation of companies, preparation for signing before public notaries and relevant organization, ensure that documents (hard/soft copies) are correctly stored. Others: ensure compliance with Italian laws and regulations applicable to renewable energy projects, as well as compliance with internal policies. What do we need? Law degree from a recognized university in Italy. Fluency in English (written and oral). Experience in relation to commercial contracts, real estate agreements and/or environmental law in the sector of energy for at least 2-3 years. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to promoting renewable energy and sustainability. Knowledge of Spanish language will be a plus. Admission to practice law in Italy with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience will be a plus. Previous experience in Law Firm will be considered.
