We were meant to fly. /p pWe are seeking a skilled CMM and Robot programmer to join our CRO Manufacturing Engineering team in Brindisi. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and testing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and Robots. This role requires expertise in interpreting engineering technical drawings, developing inspection programs / robot programs, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to meet quality standards. /p h3Job Description /h3 h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and validate CMM programs (Zeiss, Hexagon), both off-line and directly on the machine /li liDevelop and validate Robot Part Program (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc) /li liRead and interpret drawings and other quality control requirements using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) /li liEnsure programs are optimized for efficiency and accuracy /li liWork closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues /li liProvide feedback on design and manufacturing processes to improve quality and reduce defects /li liSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming parts /li liTroubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as needed. /li liSupport shop operations to guarantee Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost /li /ul h3Qualifications / Requirements /h3 ul liMaster degree in Engineering or a high school diploma with an exensie experience in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering /li liPCDMIS or Calypso programming proven experience for aerospace parts and assemblies /li liBlueprint Reading and Interpretation : Ability to read mechanical drawings, understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT), and technical specifications /li liPrevious experience with Robot programming (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc) /li liFluent in Italian and English /li liWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liKnowledge of CNC programming for machining (turning, milling) /li liKnowledge of CAM and CAD system /li liFamiliarity with aerospace or automotive industry standards. /li liKnowledge of military and commercial main component repair processes /li liKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /li liStrong interpersonal and leadership skills /li liCMM programming certifications are a plus /li liHumble : respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn /li liTransparent : shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively /li liFocused : quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed GE Aerospace offers /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 h3Smart working and work life-balance /h3 pAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
