We were meant to fly. /p pAs Engine Field Service Engineer you will be part of the Military Customer Support Organization in Brindisi. You will be responsible for providing support on technical and logistic aspects regarding military engine fleets and will serve as the liaison between customers and relevant company stakeholders. Where necessary, you will travel to customer premises to perform on‑field technical interventions of short‑medium duration. /p h3Job Description /h3 h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage as the back‑office primary point of contact for customers, CT7/T700 and AE2100D engines service‑related inquiries, issues and technical evidence arising from operators and maintenance activities. /li liBe accountable for query and answer response in a timely and efficient manner by collaborating with engineering teams to develop and implement solutions for complex technical problems and providing prompt feedback to customers. /li liAccomplish on‑field technical interventions on CT7/T700 and AE2100D engine models when requested by customers. Perform troubleshooting activities and plan the maintenance workscope. /li liPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities related to engine maintenance/repair. /li liAutonomously execute maintenance operations tasks and make evaluations of the collected results in technical manual. /li liPerform engine borescope inspection. /li liCompile technical report at the completion of each intervention activity. /li liServe as the health and safety coordinator during on‑site intervention. /li liAct as certifying staff related to engine maintenance activities and issue release to service certificate. /li /ul h3Qualifications/Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree or Technical High School Diploma with previous solid experience in a similar role. /li liThorough knowledge of operation and maintenance of turboshaft and turboprop engines, accessories, installations, control and monitoring systems as well as interfaces with airframe (CT7/T700 and AE2100D family engines is a plus). /li liAbility to autonomously carry‑on hands‑on maintenance activities, such as borescope inspection, LRU replacement, module change, etc. /li liAbility to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics of complex equipment. /li liKnowledge of configuration control rules, processes and procedures. /li liKnowledge of engine logbook for consultation and analysis of engine and engine parts data. /li liAbility to read and understand nomenclature catalogues, engine technical publications, regulations and applicable procedures (maintenance manuals, parts catalog, calibration procedures) as well as change proposal, technical disposition and repair schemes/instruction. /li liAbility to evaluate areas of improvement of existing maintenance procedures. /li liStrong MS Office knowledge. /li liStrong customer mindset.
