Commissioning Manager (Wafer Manufacturing, Milan, Italy)

Swiss Commissioning GmbH, located in Stans, Switzerland, connects the commissioning community. On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Commissioning Manager in Milan, Italy, for a semi-conductor wafer manufacturing site.
You will be responsible for commissioning the Wafer Fabrication plant, including Mechanical, Chemical, Gases, Power, and Building Control systems.
The ideal candidate will have a management qualification and / or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with relevant experience in Wafer Fabrication Start-up.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and supervise site works, including subcontract packages, ensuring compliance with company procedures, program requirements, and project specifications.
* Develop the Commissioning program integrated with the Construction P6 Schedule.
* Ensure operatives follow the latest method statements and understand them.
* Manage and liaise with work trade contractors, labor, and plant to deliver all commissioning requirements.
* Assist with design revisions and coordinate production information with site requirements and constraints.
* Develop and monitor documentation related to the commissioning program.
* Coordinate with external commissioning agents.
* Produce regular reports and immediate updates on project status and actions.
* Prepare reports for senior management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
* Participate in meetings with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders as needed.
* Monitor project progress, assess changes affecting costs or timelines, and report accordingly.
* Assist in managing contract budgets.
* Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting.
* Set clear goals with the site management team, communicate expectations to subcontractors, and support project deadlines.
Requirements
* Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, electronic disciplines, or relevant degree with industry experience.
* Legal eligibility to work in Italy.
* Skills in resolving construction issues collaboratively.
* Understanding of project management procedures.
* Ability to solve complex problems efficiently.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Experience with project controls and risk / opportunity management.
* Knowledge of administrative policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
