Job Description
A leading provider of EPC and O&M services is seeking an experienced Solar PV Engineer to join their technical engineering team. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively between the Italian engineering team and the German technical group, working on industry-leading projects.
The company currently works across six countries in Europe, providing late-stage support for solar and BESS projects at utility scale. In Italy alone, they have over 190MW in O&M stages across a team of over 40 employees. This group supports both design and technical engineering work, as well as field-based operational services. Their work covers new EPC building of solar parks, repowering old assets, and operations and maintenance of existing assets. Their portfolio also includes solar and BESS.

The Role:
This position is brand new for the group, so the full scope is yet to be defined by the right individual. You'll need to be ready for a challenge as the work is varied and complex. You'll report to both the Head of Engineering based in Germany and the CTO in Italy.
* PV Designs: Using relevant software.
* Working across the full project lifecycle on both pre-construction and construction of OV plants.
* Full technical work across early stage design, detailed engineering for grid requirements, regulations, and contracts.
* Project CAPEX estimations.
* Leading EPC tendering, drafting, reviewing technical scopes.
* Construction progress and technical compliance.
What We Need from You:
We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in electrical engineering, hands-on design work experience, and a willingness to work on designs yourself. Experience working on renewables, either utility or rooftop scale, is also essential.
