Ph3Overview /h3pWe seek an experienced and self-driven professional from the financial services industry to join our team in Milano. The selected candidate will lead and grow the GTB business of the Bank by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate customers, growing the business in terms of asset size, taking PL responsibility for the business and ensuring high credit quality of the portfolio in Italy. Offer and sell to corporate clients a wide range of transactional products and services to manage cash flows and short term financing more efficiently. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAssist the Head of GTB Italy in defining the business strategy business plan and budget. /liliManaging a portfolio of global clients developing client centric solutions to remove or reduce payment risk, facilitate working capital and provide cash management solutions. /liliRepresent BBVA with corporate clients, assuming the banker role with subsidiaries not covered by global Bankers. /liliIdentify and generate new business opportunities with existing clients and expand the geographic reach of the customer’s relationships in coordination with the global bankers. /liliVisit and call on existing and prospect clients proactively, accompanied by product specialists when required, offering transactional products and services. /liliMonitor and check, in coordination with global and local product specialists, how the transaction services and products set up for a specific customer works. /liliDraft pitches and review legal documentation of agreements in collaboration with Legal CIB. /liliNegotiate deals, renew credit lines and help the global bankers to renew financial programs. /liliEvaluate and assess current and potential returns and make pricing decisions in collaboration with the Pricing Specialist. /liliManage account, notifying the overrun to the affected customers and offering them different facilities to regularize debit positions. /liliSupervise and support the Middle Office with incidences that may occur. /liliLiaise and work alongside with other CIB front units in order to increase cross-selling and CIB support units for the deal execution. /liliRegister, modify and update customers’ business opportunities timely and accurately in the in-house client management tools and data sources for pipeline and profitability reporting. /liliUndertake an annual review of customer product and services’ price list in collaborating with the Middle Office. /liliActs as first line of defense and understand the Bank’s risk appetite while balancing business goals and objectives. /liliUnderstand the creditworthiness of each client, register the proposal in the risk management tool and participate in different committees in order to defend credit proposals and get Risks’ approval. /liliStay abreast of the specific regulatory and compliance framework that may be affected. /liliUnderstand and comply with all internal and external policies and procedures. /li /ulh3Qualification Experience /h3ulliA master degree in business, finance or related field. /liliAt least 10 years solid experience in the banking industry mainly with corporate clients with strong background on trade finance and transactional banking products. /liliGood knowledge of products and trends in trade finance and transactional banking products andgeneral corporate banking products and services. /liliFamiliarity with general banking operations and related legal and regulatory requirements. /liliPrevious exposure to preparation of credit proposals. /liliStrong connection in the local banking industry and leading Corporate clients in Italy. /liliProven business origination and structuring capabilities, with insurance covered transaction structure is an advantage. /liliHighly results driven. /liliWith trade finance experience is an advantage. /liliA team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, good negotiation skills, ability to close deals and able to work under pressure. /liliAble to work in a matrix reporting structure, multi-functional and cross-cultural environment. /liliExcellent communications skills with fluency in English. Ability to speak Spanish would be advantageous but not required. /liliKnowledge in ESG/green product structuring is a plus. /li /ulh3Education /h3ulliMaster’s degree desired. /li /ulh3Languages /h3ulliFluent in English (Spanish will be a plus). /li /ulh3Other Skills /h3ulliCustomer-oriented. /liliAble to work in a multi-functional and cross-cultural environment. /liliPro-active, self-motivated, fast learner. /liliAble to work independently with minimum supervision. /liliA team player able to work in a fast-paced environment. /liliHigh integrity. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
