The Data Center and Energy Group develops next-generation power conversion ICs for a broad range of Data Center and power conversion markets.
As our real-world analog signal processing capabilities in power products advance, there is an increasing demand for high-density power solutions. To achieve this goal, our team of analog and digital designers works on ground-breaking products by combining cutting-edge process technologies with advanced power IC design techniques.
The Data Center and Energy Group is seeking a junior-level Analog Design Engineer to join our European development team in Catania and Milan (Italy).
Responsibilities:
The Analog Design team is responsible for breaking down system-level requirements into design specifications, architecting and designing analog signal and power conversion chains, and subsystems. The key functions include, but are not limited to:
* Transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
* Working with wafer Fab to understand & develop process capabilities.
* Leveraging existing designs to meet new specifications.
* Oversee and support analog and digital layout.
* Working together with a broad team of engineers distributed across the globe.
* Supporting other job functions, such as board design, lab evaluation, and testing, to ensure successful delivery and meeting key requirements.
Requirements:
* Excellent knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design, tools, and flows.
* Experience in the stability of feedback systems and compensation techniques.
* Experience in bipolar and CMOS circuit design.
* Knowledge of precision metrics such as mismatch, noise & linearity is a plus.
* Design experience in amplifier circuits, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, or bias circuits is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
MS / PhD degree in EE or ECE with a focus on analog/mixed signal design.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Good knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design, tools, and flows.
* Understanding of stability of feedback systems and compensation techniques.
* Knowledge of bipolar and CMOS circuit design.
* Knowledge of precision metrics such as mismatch, noise & linearity is a plus.
* Design experience in amplifier circuits, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, or bias circuits.
* Hands-on experience in analog design
* Strong presentation and technical documentation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, thorough, autonomous, and driven to continually improve.
