Job Opportunity: Fashion Product Designer - Denim
For our Milan headquarters, we are looking for a resource to join our style office, focusing on women's denim product design.
The role involves supporting current trend research for Denim collections and beyond, proposing creative ideas that reflect and elevate the brand.
* Research current trends in Denim collections and beyond, proposing creative ideas that translate into aesthetics that reflect and elevate the brand.
* Prepare mood boards of images and materials for the brand's Denim collection, create sketches, technical drawings, and digital simulations during the design process based on the instructions received from the category manager.
* Rework prints and collection drawings to adapt them to Denim category garments.
* Creatively and logically develop print placements and graphics on Denim garments.
* Create Denim collection plans that adhere to the guidelines provided by the category manager.
Requirements:
* Diploma or degree in fashion design or product fashion design.
* 2 to 5 years of experience in fashion/apparel companies.
* Strong knowledge of current trends and a keen ability to research and propose new ideas aligned with brand directives and image.
* Sensitivity in fashion product development; previous experience in Denim design is a plus.
* Excellent creative and technical drawing skills, both freehand and using software.
* Proficiency in 2D software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
* Collaborative spirit, positive attitude, proactive, empathetic, and communicative.
* Willingness to travel frequently according to the brand's schedule.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French is a plus.
