This role is crucial in ensuring the company’s tax risks are effectively managed and its tax obligations are met efficiently. /ppbKey responsibilities and scope /b /p ul liMain Tax related tasks /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3ul liConduct thorough research and analysis on emerging tax legislative changes, providing advisory support to the management /li liEnsure the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns, including VAT, VAT settlements, and periodic VAT declarations for Italy and subsidiaries /li liSupport extraordinary, domestic, and cross-border corporate transactions, ensuring thorough review of contracts and compliance activities from both direct and indirect tax perspectives /li liManage continuous dialogue with Tax Authorities within the Italian cooperative compliance regime, including filing formal requests and risk communications on key tax matters /li liProvide tax advice and support to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements /li liManage monthly payments of contributions and taxes through F24 forms /li liUnder the supervision of the external tax advisor, calculation of indirect taxes, IRES, IRAP, and tax consolidation, as well as the preparation of other fiscal filings /li liPreparation and management of transfer pricing documentation at European level /li liAssistance in preparing the documents necessary for the calculation of current and deferred taxes and reconciliation of the tax rate of the Group companies /li liEnsure GlobalTaxCenter (GTC) reporting for Italian entities and coordinate inquiries with central departments /li /ul ul liMain Accounting related tasks /li /ul ul liGeneral accounting entries and monthly accruals, contributing to the preparation of the monthly financial statements for group reporting /li liSupport the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements in accordance with local civil law requirements /li liCoordinate the annual statutory audit process with external auditors /li liManagement of mandatory books /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3pbWhat We Are Looking For /b /pul liProficiency in tax research and document management /li liDegree in Economics, preferably with a focus on taxation /li liAt least 5-7 years of experience in tax, either in tax advisory firm or in tax departments of large Italian or foreign groups /li liItalian-native speaker /li liFluent in English (B2 / C1) /li liSAP knowledge is preferred /li liStrong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes matters and filing activities /li liStrong knowledge of Transfer Pricing mechanisms and ability to work with Group to align VST matters /li liAbility to align tax strategies with corporate objectives and local tax regulatory landscape /li liFamiliar with VAT, direct and indirect taxes and transfer pricing /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise management effectively /li liProblem solving oriented /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3ul liUndetermined contract /li liFlexibility /li /ul pReady to take your career to the next level?
