We keep the cloud running by supporting all AWS data centres with servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. Our inclusive culture welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. /p pThe AWS Network Design and Deployment Team (NIDD) is searching for a passionate and talented Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to drive data‑centre and network capacity planning. You will assess demand requirements together with available network resources to determine and drive optimal solutions for our customers. You’ll work with stakeholders to complete prerequisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity, lead programs aimed at improving infrastructure resource utilization and availability, and effectively plan and deliver data‑centre capacity across the ADC Organization. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liMonitor the network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate. /li liWork with stakeholders (networking engineers, tech program managers, senior management) to define requirements and processes. /li liManage the dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade‑offs needed. /li liProvide program progress reporting on a regular basis. /li liTake end‑to‑end responsibility for the program’s execution and success. /li liManage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously. /li liDevelop and implement scalable, data‑driven process improvement/automated solutions. /li liKeep the customer experience as the primary focus. /li /ul h3Diverse Experiences /h3 pAWS values diverse experiences. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve in the cloud. /p h3About the team /h3 pThe Network Design and Deployment (NIDD) team oversees the design and deployment of cable infrastructure within ADC regions, including milestone review, comment issuance, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency. NIDD planning also assesses partner team designs to ensure compliance with AWS and customer requirements, focusing on cabling pathways, sizing, location, type, classification, and installation. The team provides telecom room designs, including sizing and power for various rooms, as well as user‑outlet designs. The role involves coordinating meetings with partner teams to clarify ownership for delivering connectivity, working with multiple design/construction and networking teams. /p pYou will need to be a UK national and able to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Clearance.br/Further details found here: /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in technical product or program management /li li2+ years of software development experience /li li5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience /li liExperience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul li3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
