Financial Accountant You will support general accounting operations, month-end closings, and statutory compliance, with a focus on VAT, taxes, and local reporting requirements. The role also includes collaboration with our Shared Service Center and support in audits and travel expense management. Key Responsibilities Manage general accounting activities and perform B / S reconciliations. Assist in performing month-end and year-end closing activities following Group procedures, including accruals and payroll accounting entries. Assist in preparing the Annual Financial Statement in compliance with local regulations, including assistance in corporate income tax calculations and adjusting entries. Assist in ensuring compliance with Italian VAT / TAXES and other requirements: Good knowledge of VAT law and its regulations, monthly VAT calculation, filling in tax payment form F24, withholding taxes, accurate maintenance of VAT Register, Journal Entry Register, Inventory, and Fixed Asset register. Support review of annual/quarterly VAT returns. Shared services support: act as a key point of contact for our shared service center for general ledger, specific accounting needs, accounts payable expertise, vendor and e-invoicing reconciliation/archiving. Support external & internal audits. Manage employees' travel expenses. Submit cross-border transactions to SDI (Authority Exchange System). Handle accounting activities related to imports. Essential Skills & Experience Solid knowledge of accounting principles (Italian GAAP and IFRS). Good knowledge of SAP ERP system. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Proactive mindset and analytical approach to solve financial challenges efficiently. Fluent in English. At least 5 years’ experience working in a structured multinational company.
