Our client is a Multinational company with a remarkable presence worldwide and a fast growing business.
In order to expand the structure, we are looking for an Accounting Expert .
Job Summary
The purpose of the role is to be placed in the Accounting Department to support two main activities. On the one hand, to coordinate the group’s accounting and taxation by interacting with various central and corporate departments and, on the other hand to support the active invoicing.
In carrying out these activities, the candidate will be assisted and supported by the head of the division, to ensure the accounting supervision of its companies. All this in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
Main Responsibilities
• To prepare special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• To responding to requests from central departments concerning accounting and fiscal matters.
• Interact with auditors and other consultants, internal and external.
• To deepen matters, including tax issues relating to Group companies.
• To resolve anomalies/issues, including technical ones.
• To analyse contractual provisions on deadlines, subject matter of invoicing.
• To monitor invoicing requests, and interact with other departments, assuring exchange of information related to invoicing activities.
• Monthly invoicing meeting the deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Master’s or Bachelors in Finance and Accounting.
• Preferred experience in an international group or in main auditing companies as an advantage (preferred).
• Good accounting knowledge (IFRS) with a minimum of 2 years working experience, ideally in an industrial group.
• Advanced knowledge of finance and accounting processes especially those related to general ledger.
• Knowledge of statutory rules related to the periodical PL and BS closing.
• System-knowhow: ERP-Systems, ideally SAP, Hyperion, Office.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Team working attitude.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
Salary package: euro 35.000
