Ph3Sr. Material Compliance Engineer, Environmental and Product Compliance, Prime Air /h3 pPrime Air is seeking an experienced Sr. Material Compliance Engineer who will develop design‑for‑compliance specifications, troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues in Prime Air’s new product introduction and other business processes. This leader will have a strong background in Environmental and Product Compliance and a demonstrated ability to lead and get the right things done quickly and effectively. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ol liImplement Prime Air’s material and product compliance strategy, roadmap, and specifications for hazardous substances and material safety to support new product launches, site launches, technology development, and onboarding of new ODMs. /li liCreate procedures and guidelines to mitigate compliance issues early in the design phase and ensure hardware meets governmental and industry regulations in international markets. /li liDeliver compliance risk assessments, design‑for‑compliance specifications, design reviews, and certifications/declarations during product development to ensure new hardware designs meet technical compliance requirements in the global market. /li liInfluence internal and external partners and stakeholders to align on compliance solutions or mitigation paths that favor business objectives during product development and operations. /li liEngage closely with hardware and supplier teams on product development to determine the impact of regulatory changes on hardware design, performance, reliability, and compliance. /li liDevelop key metrics to evaluate material and product compliance engineering program performance and build implementation plans to confirm performance and compliance against program metrics, internal company requirements, and regulations. /li liParticipate in design reviews to ensure EMC/EMI and RF (Ka/Wi‑Fi/BT) mitigations are properly implemented in designs. /li /ol h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures. /li liExperience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production. /li liExperience with project management of technical projects. /li liBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent. /li li5+ years of product compliance experience in restricted substance compliance (REACH, RoHS, POPs, TSCA, etc.). /li li5+ years of experience in product development in electronics, consumer, or aerospace industry. /li li5+ years of experience leading regulatory compliance certification campaigns for electronics and battery assemblies. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent. /li li10+ years of product compliance experience in restricted substance compliance (REACH, RoHS, POPs, TSCA, etc.). /li /ul h3Salary and Benefits /h3 pBase salary range: $137,300.00 – $185,700.00 USD annually.
