In this role, you will be working with a diverse team of engineers in creating and maintaining thermodynamic models of Vertiv’s HVAC products to support the global Sales and Design teams. /p h3What kind of work will you be doing? /h3 ul liDevelop accurate and fast-executing mathematical models for HVAC components such as evaporators, condensers, compressors, fans, and pumps using physics-based equations. /li liCode efficient, stable algorithms to simulate the performance of single- and multi-circuit HVAC systems, including chilled-water, air-cooled, water-cooled, chiller, and pumped refrigeration systems. /li liCreate and maintain a comprehensive library of heat transfer and pressure drop correlations for single-phase and two-phase refrigerant flows based on state-of-the-art scientific literature. /li liReview and integrate new methods and correlations from published literature into existing models and code. /li liImplement numerical methods for solving complex multi-circuit system schemes with high computational efficiency. /li liPrepare detailed presentations and documentation focused on thermal modeling and analysis. /li liUtilize C# .NET as the primary coding language for all modeling tasks. /li /ul h3What will make you successful? /h3 ul liMS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field with a focus on thermodynamics. /li li2+ years of experience in thermal engineering is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply. /li liStrong background in single-phase and two-phase fluid dynamics, refrigerant mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics. /li liComprehensive understanding of HVAC system operation, component balancing, and system integration. /li liProficiency in coding using object-oriented programming, with familiarity in C# or a similar language considered a plus. /li liPractical knowledge of numerical methods and multi-layer, multi-circuit schematic iteration. /li liHighly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and communication tools (MS Teams, MS Outlook). /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English is mandatory. /li liNative Italian speaker or fluent in Italian (verbal and written) is highly desirable. /li liResidency near the Vertiv site in Tognana (Padova) or willingness to relocate is a plus. /li /ul pIf bYOU /b are the person we are looking for, feel free to apply and let's start drafting your future career in a healthy and growing environment! /p pThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. /p pbOUR CORE PRINCIPALS /b: Safety.
