Then come work with us and be part of MSC's family!Role and Key ResponsibilitiesMSC Technology Italy is seeking an IT Project Manager with solid experience in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to lead international implementation and roll-out projects within the transportation and logistics domain. The role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-country TMS initiatives, acting as the key coordination point between IT, business stakeholders, and external partners.Lead end-to-end TMS implementation and transformation projects from initiation to go-live and stabilizationDefine project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with business and IT stakeholdersCoordinate cross-functional and cross-country teams, including IT, operations, and external vendorsManage project plans, risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring on-time and on-budget deliveryEnsure alignment with corporate standards, governance models, and best practicesOversee system configuration, integrations, data migration, and testing activities related to TMS solutionsCoordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live activitiesEnsure effective communication, reporting, and escalation toward key stakeholders and project sponsorsDrive process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement within transportation and distribution processesSupport change management, training, and post go-live support activitiesRequirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldAt least 4–6 years of experience in IT project management roles within logistics or supply chain environmentsProven experience delivering Transportation Management System (TMS) projects, preferably in international or multi-site contextsStrong knowledge of transportation and logistics processes (e.g. inbound/outbound transportation, carrier management, freight costing, planning and execution)Solid understanding of IT systems, integrations, and data flows within the supply chain ecosystemStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage complex initiatives involving multiple teams and external vendorsExcellent command of English (C1 level), both written and spokenNice to haveProject Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar)Experience in global transformation or digitalization programsFamiliarity with Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall project delivery methodologiesExperience working within a Center of Excellence or global governance modelWhat we offerWe offer a range of benefits including new learning opportunities, a comprehensive Welfare System, Life and Health Insurance, Modern Workstation and Discounts within the MSC group.
