Role Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft at all times.
Exercise full command of the aircraft from taxi‑out to final engine shutdown.
Lead the flight and cabin crew, demonstrating strong decision‑making and effective crew resource management.
Operate with efficiency and environmental responsibility, in line with company fuel and sustainability policies.
Deliver consistent on‑time performance to meet Etihad’s commitment to reliability and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5,500 total flying hours.
A minimum of 2,500 PIC hours on multi‑crew, glass cockpit aircraft.
A minimum of 1,500 PIC hours on one of the A320 family.
Flown an A320 family aircraft within the last 12 months.
Valid A320 type rating for at least 2 months at the time of joining.
Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL.
Current on A320.
Unrestricted and current Class 1 medical.
Age under 59 years on the day of joining.
Current TRE/TRI rating is an advantage.
English language fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or higher.
If hours are accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours shall be counted towards the required minimum.
Glass cockpit refers to aircraft with an FMS coupled to an APFDS. (Additional technical knowledge may be required.)
