Ph3The Opporutnity /h3 pAs new RD Electrical Engineer, you will join our Global Multi-Physic Simulation (GLOMUS) network team in the Technology Center of HITACHI Energy. /p pYou will be part of a group of key people with specific expertise in the fields of electrical, structural, acoustic, thermo-mechanic and fluid-dynamics analyses, simulation and testing. /p pAs part of our global RD community including Technology Centers and Research Centers worldwide, you will contribute to support all factories in the PG Dry, Traction and Distribution Transformers on innovative and challenging research projects. /p pYou will focus on developing new technologies and products, optimizing existing ones and on supporting different engineering offices around the world. /p h3How You Will Make An Impact /h3 ul liStudy of current state of art in the field of 2D and 3D simulation of transformers /li liAnalysis of performance of different parameters of dry transformers by means of 2D and 3D electromagnetic FEM calculations /li liDevelop new automations for the assessment of products through electromagnetic simulations coupled with structural, thermomechanical and acoustic simulations /li liRun feasibility studies, develop new technical concepts, design new products and simulate their expected performances /li liOrganize prototyping and testing activities to validate new technologies/products /li liLead product and technology development projects in the field of Dry, Traction and Oil Distribution Transformer, delivering results on time and on budget at agreed scope and quality /li liSupport the transfer of technology and knowledge from RD to engineering department by writing design rules, preparing trainings and collaborating with design tools team /li liProvide technical support to other departments when needed (engineering, product management, marketing and sales etc.) /li liLiving Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. /li /ul h3Your background /h3 ul liMSc + 1 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field /li liPhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred /li liExisting work experience in Electrical Engineering with particular focus on transformer design /li liBackground experience on acoustics of transformers. /li liAdvanced knowledge of transformer design and prediction of relevant performance such as leakage fields, stray losses, no-load losses, short-circuit forces, mutual inductances, and similar /li liExperience in the finite element analysis (ANSYS, COMSOL, FEM electromagnetic simulation tool) /li liKnowledge of at least one of the following programming languages (Python, Matlab, C#) /li liExperience in electric testing of transformers /li liProject management skills /li liAction and result oriented mindset /li liInnovation spirit, "out of the box" thinking /li /ul h3More About Us /h3 pWe pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefit programs to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
