The role focuses on patient-centred consultations and prescribing in endocrinology, sexual health, and gender-affirming care, supporting safe, compassionate, and evidence-based access to services for transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse (trans+) young people. Clinicians will work within a multidisciplinary framework, contributing to assessment and treatment pathways that may include hormone-related care and broader health support. Care delivery follows recognised international best-practice standards for gender-affirming healthcare, emphasising safeguarding, informed consent/assent, collaboration with families or guardians where appropriate, personalised treatment planning, and ongoing clinical monitoring.
