Technical Support Specialist – CMS (Conventional Milking Systems)
Join DeLaval as a Technical Support Specialist – CMS and help our dealers and field technicians optimise conventional milking systems. The role provides expert technical support for installations, commissioning, troubleshooting and customer experience, contributing to system uptime and customer satisfaction.
Location: Turkey
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first- and second-level technical support to dealers and field technicians for CMS installations.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software-related issues in milking systems.
* Guide troubleshooting through remote tools, phone, ticketing systems, and on-site visits when needed.
* Escalate complex cases to regional/global support following DeLaval protocols.
* Support dealers during installation, commissioning, and configuration of parlors and rotaries.
* Verify system setup in line with DeLaval engineering standards and product guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance requirements.
* Deliver technical training (classroom, online, and on-farm) to dealers and technicians.
* Maintain and update training materials, manuals, and best practice guidelines.
* Build strong relationships with dealers and key customers through reliable, competent support.
* Ensure timely resolution of cases with clear communication and follow-up.
* Promote service excellence in line with DeLaval standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical Competencies
* Technical background (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automation, or similar).
* Experience with CMS/parlor systems, milking equipment, agricultural machinery, or industrial automation.
* Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools.
* Familiarity with control systems, sensors, pumps, vacuum systems, liners, pulsation, and milking routines.
Soft Skills
* Problem-solving attitude and structured troubleshooting approach.
* Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ability to train, coach, and support external partners.
* Proactive, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure.
Other Requirements
* Willingness to travel regularly (domestic and occasional international).
* Proficiency in English and local language.
* Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in dairy farming or exposure to livestock environments.
* Prior work with DeLaval equipment or similar CMS products.
* Knowledge of digital service tools, IoT systems, or farm management software.
