Day to Day / Responsibilities
* As Manufacturing Quality Technician you will be part of the Quality department and will report to the Team Leader Manufacturing QA. The position is based in Crespellano (BO).
* Ensure timely support to the manufacturing team during production and ensure all relevant standards are respected along the manufacturing process.
* Ensure that intermediate and finished product non-conformities are managed and related corrective & preventive actions are implemented. Consistently apply OPEN+ systems and tools.
* Ensure compliance to PMI and legal Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability standards to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss. Promote a safety culture with preventive/predictive approaches in line with Open+/IO.
* Provide Production support by giving Quality guidance, sharing knowledge with stakeholders, and training floor staff on Quality practices and procedures. Provide first level support for DIM troubleshooting and relevant trials.
* Support brand change activities related to Gate 4 and VSU projects. Coordinate the availability and testing of samples.
* Support non-conformities investigations and deviation handling using OPEN+ problem solving tools; contribute to define disposal actions and corrective actions when appropriate.
* Participate in decision-making on releasing or destroying non-conforming products blocked due to quality issues; supervise related costs. Support BUBD activities for Semis and Finished Goods.
* Provide documentation management & QMS support, including creation and review of procedures, work instructions and other Quality Documents. Support training and ensure availability of Batch Records before production.
* Propose and follow up quality improvement ideas in production or other Operations processes. Analyze information and participate in small projects.
* Assist materials management to improve DIMs performance and its impact on product quality, machine efficiency and production costs.
* Support investigation of non-conformities and deviations, assist in root cause analysis, quarantine decisions, and ensure open actions are followed up and costs controlled (LOGD).
* Communicate quality information to colleagues and support teams. Contribute to developing Q Champions and Equipment Owners through Quality trainings. Support Q Pillar deployment (Training, HC, QBOS).
* Perform critical review of completed production batch records and handle related non-conformities and corrective/preventive actions with partners, ensuring release approval for commercial manufacturing where appropriate.
* Perform calibration and maintenance of line quality instruments and ensure accurate functionality.
Qualifications & Skills
* Professional School, Technical or equivalent; Chemical degree or CTF degree.
* 6 months in production, quality or equivalent experience.
* Italian: fluent; English: basic.
* Knowledge of International standards (ISO). Strong quality tools knowledge, root cause analysis, analytical skills, and statistical tools. Ability to transform data into information (reporting skills).
* Contract Type: 6 months temporary.
