Responsibilities:
* Manage the entire procurement process, from requesting quotes to selecting suppliers and negotiating contracts.
* Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time criteria, with particular attention to the specific needs of EPC projects.
* Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong and professional relationships.
* Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure the procurement of materials and services that meet project requirements.
* Analyze market trends and economic conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
* Manage inventory and optimize stock levels, considering the specifics of industrial plants.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in procurement.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
* Previous experience as a Buyer in EPC or plant engineering environments.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Analytical skills and attention to detail.
* In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and procurement practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good command of English, both written and spoken.
* Familiarity with procurement management software and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics).
* Preferred: Experience working in plant engineering companies.
