We are looking for a RETAIL BUSINESS CONTROLLER based in MILAN.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
Assist in monthly closing for Retail P&L; (sales, margin, opex), ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
\n
Prepare management reports and dashboards for store performance (sales, markdowns, KPIs).
\n
Supporting the preparation of budgets, reforecasts and 3-year plans in conjunction with all the different teams involved in the process.
\n
Monitoring capex against investment budgets and highlighting areas of overspend for Retail/Wholesale Capex and HQ investment, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data from multiple sources and preparing basic analyses (actual vs budget, forecast vs budget).
\n
Contribute to investment business cases (new stores, refurbishments) by gathering cost estimates and preparing financial models.
\n
Global Stock Management: perform monthly data extractions for worldwide stock positions and analyze inventory data to support profit‑in‑stock calculations and related reporting.

Qualifications
\n
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
\n
2–3 years’ experience as a retail/wholesale controller within the fashion or luxury industry.
\n
Fluent English.
\n
Strong Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI/Qlik), Board and SAP BW/4HANA is an advantage.
\n
Background of experience in a Fashion/Luxury company is a plus.
\n
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
