PWe are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position: /ppSpecialty Business Division (SBD) /ph3strongTHE POSITION: /strong /h3pTo be a therapeutic area Cardiovascular scientific expert, responsible for discussing our products, patients’ treatment trends and studies in the therapeutic areas in which we are involved, on a peer-to-peer basis with a defined audience of Key External Experts (KEEs) and to be considered a trusted scientific counterpart and partner. /ph3strongROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES /strong /h3pFunction as the primary point of contact in the field for Daiichi-Sankyo Medical Affairs /pulliCommunicate the Scientific value of company products, to internal and external stakeholders /liliThrough scientific interactions, champion the medical value of our products fairly based on the risk-benefit profile of our drugs and contribute to the fostering of innovative approaches /liliDevelop and execute an external stakeholder engagement plan /liliRespond to unsolicited scientific queries from customers for approved products and products/indications in development, based on Medical Affairs and Medical Information documents /liliSupport and manage Medical Affairs clinical activities strategy, planning, design and execution (in close co-operation with HQ and CROs) /liliUse digital technologies and new media to support proactive and reactive communication /liliRepresent DS at medical meetings, conferences, advisory boards, etc at key institutions, and in interactions with key external experts /liliContribute the pre-launch and launch steps of new products providing scientific support /liliSupport medical affairs activities and generation and dissemination of data /liliEnsure compliance requirements are factored into programs' scientific activities /liliExpress attitude to work in a cross functional team /liliArea of activity - for Lombardia: Bergamo, Brescia, Cremona, Lodi, Mantova e Pavia; Friuli-Venezia Giulia: entire territory. /li /ulh3strongQUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS /strong /h3ulliAdvanced degree (e.g. Pha rmD., MD, Ph D) in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred but candidates with a scientific degree and demonstrated experience will be considered /liliExperience as MSL or other roles in Medical Affairs or RD is preferred /liliExperience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area is preferred /liliAbility to quickly and accurately learn, retain and present detailed scientific information /liliStrongly preferred an in-depth understanding of MSLs role and acitivities /liliProven leadership skills in a cross-functional team environment. /liliGood skill in presenting, communicating and facilitating discussions with small and large groups in an engaging manner /liliAbility to relate and work with a wide range of people to achieve results /liliAbility to efficiently and effectively manage time and priorities /liliMust possess very good oral and written English communication skills. /liliField based within the area of activity or available to relocate /liliAbility to work independently /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
