Our team is seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our dynamic field applications organization. As an Application Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and training to our customers.
Your primary goal will be to provide first-class application support, perform demonstrations of our instruments and reagents, and promote our product portfolio. You will work closely with our local team to ensure seamless customer support, tender responses, sales growth, and margin.
This role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver presentations and conduct training sessions for diverse audiences. You must have a solid educational background in scientific disciplines and full professional proficiency in Italian and English.
We are looking for someone who can analyze complex situations, implement effective solutions, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments. Previous experience in multinational companies and familiarity with pathology laboratory environments are desirable.

You will be responsible for providing application support, troubleshooting issues, and diagnosing hardware and software failures. You will also support the development of strong customer relationships and ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.
This is a full-time, permanent position, part of our Field Applications team based in the Naples area, with a fully remote work arrangement. The role requires approximately 50% field presence. You will report to the SEM Advanced Staining & Application Consultant Manager, responsible for application support in the Campania–Puglia area, with occasional travel to other Italian regions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide application support, with a commercial awareness, to customers as required including in-field troubleshooting of application problems and diagnosing rudimentary hardware and software failures.
* In collaboration with the entire local team, provide on-site pre-sales technical support to drive high-value sales opportunities, including customer-facing technical visits and instrument demonstrations.
* Support the development of strong customer relationships and ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.
