Perform complex and targeted experiments in molecular and cellular biology to investigate and analyze the effect of natural substances on specific cellular and molecular processes. This includes the design and implementation of innovative cell based assays with the aim of gaining insights on biological mechanisms and cellular responses, creating a solid foundation far the development of new therapeutic applications.The successful candidate is expected to interact on a daily basis with the other lab scientists in arder to generate personal relationships and the relevant technical environment necessary to enable a comprehensive Systems Biology approach.The successful candidate is expected to work independently, in the framework of collaborations with international academic institutions.
Requirements
PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, BiotechnologyScientific background (Biology, Biotechnology)Experience in cell culture and manipulation: Skilled in cell culture. Experience in microscopy, cell viability assays and knowledge of flow cytometer techniques. Experience with primary cell culture, ca-colture and 3D cellular models.Gene expression analysis: experience with quantitative PCR and knowledge of gene expression profiling techniques, including RNA-seq and microarrays.Protein analysis: experience in protein quantification, immunoblotting and ELISAFluent in EnglishExperience with Agilent Seahorse XF Analyzers will be considered a valuable asset.
