Main Responsibilities
Design and development of PLC software using Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Omron platformsIntegration of PLC controllers with industrial robots ( ABB, KUKA, FANUC, etc.)Configuration and programming of industrial automation systemsCommissioning, testing, and diagnostics of systems at customer sitesMaintenance and further development of existing PLC applicationsManagement of field devices such as sensors, actuators, and invertersCollaboration with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure proper integrationPreparation of technical documentation for the systemsPost-installation support and optimization of automation systems
Requirements
Technical diploma or degree in electronics, automation, or computer engineering (or equivalent qualification)At least 3 years of experience in PLC programming within the industrial automation fieldProficiency in PLC programming languages and knowledge of Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Omron platformsExperience with integration of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)Good knowledge of automation and control systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel for short periods (on average 10-12 weeks per year)Excellent knowledge of the English languageMust be willing to relocate to Teglio Veneto (VE), Italy, or nearby .
