JOB MISSION:
To drive the new MES implementation in Operations (& to guarantee Digital Knowledge Management & People Development)
MAIN TASKS:
• Support to Data Architecture implementation and data stream to MES.
• Be the key expert about new MES implementation and daily use.
• Development of MES digital skills of the organization (following TE Pillar guidelines, define training modules and deliver training to operators and supervisors)
• Continuous identification and leverage of digitalization potential in Manufacturing trough MES modules.
• Close collaboration with the SAP S4 team to optimize the MES/SAP synergie.
• Close collaboration with local IT/OT teams.
• Deliver MES initiative as defined in Digital Transformation Program and define/align new requirements and solution designs in close collaboration with Digital Coordinator and local & corporate executives (through active stakeholders’ involvement and management).
• Digitalize LPW tools and systems through MES (where possible).
• Active MES project controlling and reporting (in order to respect defined timeline, budget, features).
• In this role, the MES owner has a crucial role to guarantee proper knowledge and use of the new system and continuously collects needs and bugs to improve way of working.
REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in engineering, informatics or similar
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Digital competencies and experiences in Manufacturing applications is a strong plus (especially if MES related).
• TPM/LEAN/OpEx/WCM/CI competencies and experiences in Manufacturing applications is a plus
• Able to communicate
clearly and confidently in English
