Ph3Overview /h3pIn this role, you will help define and certify connected aircraft avionic systems, leading architecture and security-focused design for onboard and ground infrastructure. You will collaborate across engineering disciplines to translate customer and policy requirements into system specifications, run bench and flight tests, and address information security risks through threat analysis and model-based assessments. You’ll contribute to regulatory responses and ongoing airworthiness efforts, shaping secure, integrated avionics solutions. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliCreate design specifications and derive system/sub-system requirements for on-board avionics and ground infrastructure /liliLead architecture definition from customer requirements, internal standards, and certification needs /liliPlan and execute bench and aircraft test procedures; participate in trials and off-site testing /liliIdentify security risks from info security threats and perform threat analysis and vulnerability assessments /liliApply system modeling to assess avionic networks, assets, perimeter and security environment /liliDevelop solutions to mitigate identified risks and support certification activities /liliProvide input to regulatory responses for security certification and continued airworthiness /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliUniversity degree or equivalent in a technical field (electronic, telecom, automation, computer, nuclear, electrical, aeronautical or related) /liliExperience in design, development, integration, qualification and certification of avionics systems (civil or military) /liliInterest and background in information technology and cybersecurity /liliDesirable knowledge of requirements tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS) and MBSE (UML/SysML) /liliAbility to work in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams /liliGood communication skills and proactive problem solving /liliStrong English proficiency /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
