The role also involves developing small internal tools.\nResponsibilities\nSecurity Knowledge of DLP solutions, how they work, how to evaluate and deploy them\nUnderstanding of EDR/XDR platforms and endpoint hardening strategies\nNetwork security architecture: segmentation, VLANs, IDS/IPS, zero-trust concepts\nVulnerability assessment methodology and tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, or similar)\nIncident response logic: triage, containment, root cause analysis\nAwareness of SIEM platforms and centralized log correlation\nFirewall rule logic and policy design (Fortinet, Huawei, Zyxel) Development PHP and databases for small internal web applications\nIntegration with Active Directory, REST APIs, and databases\nUnderstanding of authentication flows (SSO, LDAP, OAuth)\n.NET (ASP.NET Core / Blazor) is a plus General PowerShell and/or Python scripting for automation\nWindows Server\n2-4 years in roles mixing security with infrastructure or development Nice to Have Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, FortiNSE)\nVMware or Docker exposure\nModern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) What matters most\nCuriosity, initiative, and drive.
