LiJob Details /liliWhat you will do /lipWe are currently seeking an HR Director for Southern Europe to partner with the business and be responsible for over 4000 employees. Responsibilities will span a range of HR functions and focus on aligning strategic objectives with human capital strategies, especially for senior and mid-level leadership. /pulliHow you will do it /lipParticipate in developing organizational plans as a strategic partner, considering their impact on people. Translate business plans into HR strategies and operational plans. /ppEvaluate and advise on long-term planning, new programs, strategies, and regulatory actions affecting attraction, motivation, development, and retention. /ppPartner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Diversity Inclusion, and Learning Development to develop effective strategies. /ppDevelop, implement, and enforce HR policies, programs, tools, and technology strategies for effective management of organizational human resources. /ppStay informed on global and local HR policies, laws, and issues, understanding the differences between domestic and international policies, and coordinate their integration. /ppMaintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance, partnering with the legal department as needed. /ppProvide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. /ppWork closely with management and employees to improve relationships, boost morale, and increase retention. /ppCo-lead the relationship between Johnson Controls and the European Works Council. /p /ulliWhat we look for /liulliBachelor's degree required; master's preferred /liliMultiple years of experience in senior HR roles such as HR Business Partner or Country HR Manager /liliKnowledge of multi-country labor relations, policies, risk mitigation, and legal landscape in Europe /liliProven ability to collaborate across organizations to achieve results /liliEffective leadership skills in a fast-paced environment /liliStrategic thinking and ability to translate plans into actions /liliExperience working with Works Councils and/or Unions in at least two European countries /liliStrong communication skills to interact with peers and leadership across departments /li /ulliOur culture /lipAt Johnson Controls, you'll work on exciting projects in a collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic environment.
