You write product specs, make design and technical decisions, and build in a low‐meeting, high‐ownership environment. Ashby's growth metrics are best‐in‐class: tens of millions in ARR, >100% YoY growth, very low churn, and many years of runway.
Responsibilities
Own large portions of product features end‐to‐end, wearing hats traditionally worn by product and design.
Research competitors, write product specs, create wireframes, and prototype solutions.
Design and build automated interview scheduling, declarative filter architecture, and in‐app signing offers.
Collaborate with stakeholders, mentors senior engineers, and communicate progress effectively.
Reduce process bottlenecks, automate repetitive tasks, and create reusable abstractions.
Qualifications
Full‐stack engineering experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, Postgres, and Redis.
Ability to tackle ambiguity, balance speed and quality, and build powerful abstractions.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset.
Ambition to continuously improve skills and deliver high‐impact product features.

Interview Process
Introduction call with hiring manager (15‐30m).
Technical screen with pair programming in live codebase (1h).
