ACCOUNTANT FRANCE
Ideal profile:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
* Minimum 5 years of experience in general or tax accounting;
* Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards and
French
laws and regulations

* High attention to detail and accuracy;
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
* Advanced knowledge of SAP, with experience in ERP and digital tool implementation and
process analysis;
* Fluent in French and English;
* Domicile near the company headquarters.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will autonomously perform the following activities:
● Monitor day-to-day financial operations within the company;
● Oversee automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP;
● Manage non-trade accounts payables and prime entries;
● Prepare financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and perform monthly
reconciliations;
● Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with French and US GAAP;
● Ensure the integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transactions;
● Manage cash flow, reporting, and support payment preparation;
● Liaise with tax authorities for audits and special requests;
● Maintain and review financial records, including the Fixed Assets Ledger;
● Ensure compliance with French accounting standards, tax laws, and reporting deadlines;
● Perform intercompany and bank reconciliations;
● Manage general accounting and VAT returns in collaboration with local tax and legal
consultants, ensuring accurate VAT and taxable income calculations, VAT reports, Journal
Book, and other government filings;
● Collaborate with auditors to resolve accounting issues promptly;
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and finance practices;
● Analyze new transactions and document appropriate accounting treatments under French and
US GAAP;
● Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls;
● Support ad hoc projects;
● Contribute to the enhancement of accounting tools and processes.
