Ph3Engineering Technologist Assistant, Raw Material Management /h3 pDepartment: SC CENTRAL OPERATIONS /p pLocation: IT /p h3INTRODUCTION /h3 pThis role safeguards the quality, integrity, and seamless flow of Burberry’s fabrics across the supply chain, ensuring excellence from mill to product while championing partnership, precision, and elevated craftsmanship. /p h3JOB PURPOSE /h3 pThe role requires frequent trips to Turin. /p h3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liLead the RTW bulk fabric approval process, ensuring mills follow Burberry’s standards and delivering precise evaluations of cutting references. /li liSafeguard fabric quality by verifying hand‑feel, colour consistency and aesthetic alignment with approved references. /li liMaintain rigorous documentation and data accuracy across Flex PLM and internal reference libraries. /li liManage non‑conformities with agility, coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders to protect timelines and product integrity. /li liOversee and support daily operations on the Codetex Connect platform, enabling seamless use for mills, vendors and internal teams. /li liGuide Codetex inspection priorities and provide technical input during visual assessments to uphold Burberry’s quality expectations. /li liAnalyse platform data to generate insights that support quality optimisation and supply chain performance. /li liBuild strong partnerships through training, collaboration and on‑site support with mills, vendors and Codetex teams. /li /ul h3PERSONAL PROFILE /h3 pExperience in fabric quality, raw materials or textile sourcing within fashion. /p pStrong understanding of fabric construction, inspection standards and colour evaluation. /p pConfidence working with PLM or digital supply chain tools (Codetex is a plus). /p pExcellent organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment. /p pStrong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. /p pAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support decisions. /p pWillingness to travel for inspections and vendor visits when needed. /p h3FOOTER /h3 pBurberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
