Ph3Visiting Instrumental Teacher (Singing) /h3 pSt Georgeʼs British International School is seeking an outstanding Singing teacher to provide individual lessons to a small number of pupils. The successful candidate will be offered a consultancy contract and will invoice the school for lessons given. /p h3Contract /h3 pConsultancy (Partita Iva required) /p h3Start Date /h3 pSeptember 2026 /p h3Roles and Responsibilities /h3 ul liDeliver outstanding Singing lessons on a one-to-one basis as required /li liAttend meetings and school concerts as required /li liPromote exemplary behaviour and a responsible attitude among all pupils at all times /li liBe aware of and act upon all policies regarding safeguarding of children /li liEnsure that all communication is acted upon appropriately and in a timely manner /li liBe responsible for all school resources, reporting damage or loss to the appropriate authority within the school /li liShow an active interest in the personal circumstances of the children under your care, and foster their personal and social development /li liActively promote the social, moral and cultural ethos of the school community /li liCreate an atmosphere of support by being aware of, and fully compliant with, all the school policies on pastoral care /li liBe familiar with all of the school's policies on Health and Safety and be proactive in ensuring the safety of all members of the school community at all times /li liContribute to the extra curricular life of the school /li liPromote pride in the school among the pupil body through high standards of dress, behaviour and commitment /li liAttend Parents’ Evenings, Assemblies and other school events during term time as required by the Head of School/Principal /li liContribute to the virtual learning environment, the website, social media and publications in support of your work /li liContribute to the school’s Self Evaluation and Strategic Plan /li liFoster a close partnership with parents, initiating contact in appropriate circumstances and ensuring that there is a record of this /li liCarry out any reasonable professional request made by the Principal or Head of School /li /ul h3Personal Skills /h3 ul liAmbassador of St George’s at all times /li liRole model in relation to the school’s core values of Internationalism, Inclusivity and Excellence /li liEnthusiastic and passionate about education with a sound understanding of UK best practice /li liReliable and respectful in dealings with all members of the school community /li liFlexible and adaptable to the varied demands of working in a world-class school environment /li liProactive in all aspects of school life /li liCapable of working both independently and collaboratively /li liCreative and innovative across and beyond the curriculum /li liAbility to work successfully under pressure, with excellent organisational skills /li liDemonstrate a positive and proactive attitude towards participation in professional development and the school’s induction and professional review processes /li liA competent user of IT in the classroom and for administrative purposes /li liEarly Career Teachers will be considered /li /ul h3Formal Qualifications / Experience /h3 ul liA relevant degree from a university, conservatoire or college /li liA certified teaching qualification (e.g. Qualified Teacher Status) /li liA distinguished record of teaching /li liA strong record of professional development /li /ul h3Equal Opportunities /h3 pSt George's is an equal opportunities employer and is fully committed to treating all its employees and job applicants equally.
