Hitachi Europe Srl, multinational Japanese company, for its Industrial Components & Equipment Group (ICEG) based in Bollate (Milan) is looking for a
**General Manager ICEG-Italy**
to head up the structure and ensure that two aims are achieved: growing profitable revenue in region and delivering high level of customer satisfaction.
ICEG department is mainly focused on:
- Energy Efficiency: Offering an energy intelligence plan entirely integrated into a process that has no limits to its complexity, that measure any type of energy consumption in real time, recommending operations to streamline energy efficiency. Our solution assists your Co2 emission.
- Water Management: delivering Innovative solution for Water network. Approach to every network by addressing the causes that increase leakage frequency with the aim of reducing water loss permanently
The resource will be required to identify, evaluate and negotiate sales, service and marketing growth opportunities across multiple of the following areas: Commercial/Pricing Strategy, Sales Channel Strategy (Alliance Partnerships, Franchising, E-Commerce, etc.), New Product Development.
The work includes:
- Introducing formalized process for delivering consistency of sales marketing and service in the region.
- Identifying performance gaps and inefficiencies in existing processes and implementing a lean approach to address them.
- Motivating and coaching the team member, making each person accountable for their action.
- Identifying and developing optimal revenue models, sales/distribution channels, pricing, and new product development strategies.
- Identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships including financial arrangements, customer sharing, and intellectual property rights.
- Prioritizing and tracking investments across new product development initiatives
- Responsible for project managing/integrating new business ideas and/or acquisitions.
- Identifying/developing and coaching Managers/Team leaders to their set targets, performance plans and objective standard.
- Managing a department that includes multiple teams led by Managers and/or Team Leaders.
- Managing products stock at local warehouse to provide customer satisfaction and also to keep as healthy level
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting ICEG GM (Europe) by providing budget forecast, providing briefings and reports for use for negotiations with supply chain and manufacturing group.
- Managing profitability of department for business sustainability.
- Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the Department.
- Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis.
- Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
