Do you want to work at the interface between the development of Siemens’ High‑Frequency Electromagnetics solutions and their users across multiple application areas? We're hiring an Applications Engineer to join our Feko Application Specialists team to assist in evaluating and verifying functionalities and solutions implemented to address electromagnetic simulation, propagation modelling and network planning applications in Simcenter Feko.

The primary focus of this role is to evaluate and validate solutions using realistic customer‑driven use cases, developed in collaboration with Siemens Technical Support teams and customers, to ensure correctness, usability, and performance.
\n
Additionally, you'll contribute to the specification, planning, and prioritisation of improvements and extensions to Siemens HF Electromagnetics solutions, working closely with Product Management and subject‑matter experts.
\n

You'll make a difference by:Contributing to the definition and maintenance of realistic customer use cases for solution verification, in collaboration with Technical Support and Program Management.
\n
Preparing and maintaining technical material to support the introduction and communication of new Simcenter Feko features to customers and internal partners.
\n
Verifying and validating functional areas of Siemens HF Electromagnetics solutions throughout the development lifecycle, and communicate findings related to applicability, risks, and priorities.
\n
Supporting Product Management in the preparation of product specifications and the documentation of solution capabilities.Your success is grounded in:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
\n
Fundamental knowledge of Electromagnetics and high‑frequency techniques.
\n
Hands‑on experience with practical electromagnetics applications and electromagnetic simulation tools.
\n
Ability to work independently within defined objectives, as well as collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
\n
Clear and effective communication skills, with proficiency in English.Nice if you have:Experience using Simcenter Feko and other commercial Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) tools.
\n
Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for automation or workflow improvement.
\n
Postgraduate qualification (Master’s or Ph D) with applied focus in Computational Electromagnetics.
\n
Interest in engineering software products, including usability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
