IT Engineering Applications Expert
As our IT Engineering Applications Expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing IT-supported processes that guide a product from initial idea to market launch. You’ll connect engineering, R&D, and commercial teams to ensure seamless data flow, efficient workflows, and powerful system integration—helping us deliver products faster, smarter, and more collaboratively.
Your responsibilities
Drive Product Lifecycle Excellence
1. Design, configure, and maintain IT-enabled processes across NPI, product development, RFQ, and launch readiness.
2. Ensure workflows capture both technical and commercial insights, creating one source of truth for all teams.
3. Standardize procedures to empower engineering and commercial teams with accurate, actionable information.
Integrate & Optimize Systems
4. Connect engineering tools (CAD, PLM, simulation software) with ERP, CRM, and commercial platforms.
5. Enable smooth interoperability for quotation tools, customer portals, and engineering databases.
6. Collaborate with IT colleagues to maintain data integrity, uptime, and secure access for all stakeholders.
Collaborate Across Teams
7. Act as the bridge between engineering, R&D, commercial, and IT teams.
8. Translate technical and business requirements into effective IT solutions.
9. Provide training and support to ensure smooth adoption of systems across the organization.
Leverage Data for Insights
10. Maintain a centralized repository of product and customer data that’s reliable and accessible.
11. Build dashboards to track RFQ status, development progress, launch readiness, and team alignment.
12. Monitor KPIs to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency across the product lifecycle.
Champion Continuous Improvement
13. Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements or automation.
14. Benchmark processes against industry standards to optimize both technical and commercial operations.
15. Support change management initiatives when introducing new systems or upgrades.
Your profile
16. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field.
17. Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting product lifecycle processes in technical and commercial environments.
18. Hands-on experience integrating PLM, ERP, CAD, and CRM systems.
19. Deep understanding of engineering and commercial workflows.
20. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
21. Knowledge of ISO/TS quality management systems is a plus.
22. Skilled in system integration, workflow configuration, process mapping, lifecycle tracking, and change management.
23. Strong grasp of NPI, RFQ, and go-to-market processes.
24. Understanding of commercial quoting, pricing, and sales pipelines.
25. Exceptional cross-departmental communication, analytical skills, and a structured, detail-oriented approach.
