This role requires fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English to support developer events across EMEA and LATAM regions. You’ll work side‑by‑side with our clients to create, plan, execute, and measure events. The role offers the opportunity to build events for a multi‑national client. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go‑getter who jumps on new opportunities, knows event trends, competitor events, and industry standards. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDeliver outstanding quality support to the marketing events and programmes run by the Client team /li liWork closely with your Client team point of contact on event data and audience development for multiple EMEA events ul liSpending time building and maintaining spreadsheets with extreme attention to detail /li liWork on spreadsheets updates, analysis, and heavy data for nominations and the delegate management process /li liOwnership of event reporting (during and post-event) /li /ul /li liOwnership and/or collaboration on project timelines and project plans, ensuring deliverables are met on time /li liWork effectively with external partners, creative agencies, and vendors, and internal cross‑functional partners, e.g. PR, Sales, Logistics, and other Marketing teams /li liActing as a trusted project lead, reporting to our Event Director /li liCreating high‑quality, high‑touch creative events that communicate brand value and build brand equity among advertisers and consumers /li liDelivering high‑velocity events programmes, whilst managing multiple stakeholders, either for virtual or in‑person event formats /li liProject management of different event formats, from the initial event strategy and concepting, pre‑event planning, through to live event delivery and post‑event reporting /li liCreate an integrated communication and messaging strategy for both internal and external audiences to maximise event visibility and ensure stakeholder alignment and a cohesive messaging at every stage /li liDirect client management and reporting. Overseeing multiple projects at one time, ensuring objectives are met and exceeded /li liFinancial ownership – including creating, managing, and reconciling event budgets, as well as ongoing internal and client team financial planning /li liOverseeing and managing internal teams or third‑party suppliers required for the event delivery (e.g. production, catering, AV, content programming, onsite staffing, communication strategy, design and creative, and more) – ensuring all project deadlines are adhered to and acting as quality control for the event work delivered /li liConsistent communication to the client with updates, status reports, and progress of projects against their objectives and scope /li /ul h3About You /h3 h3The essentials /h3 ul liExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Brazilian Portuguese and English are required /li liStrong capabilities in the area of event project management, ideally with 4-7 years of experience managing events (in‑person and virtual events) /li liEvent trend awareness and competitive insights /li liExcellent ability to multitask and stay abreast of multiple projects at one time /li liExperienced in financial planning, including building and managing event budgets /li liAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment and be able to quickly react to new/urgent requests /li liHigh energy, detail‑oriented person, with a go‑getter, positive attitude; comfortable working autonomously and within groups /li liExperience working directly with clients to build strong relationships and create a positive experience that helps meet clients' business expectations and needs /li liEffective verbal, written, and presentation‑related communication skills around project planning and status, roadblocks, and, when needed, alternate courses of action /li liStrong technical fluency across diverse communication and website management platforms and tools, coupled with a proactive and curious mindset toward leveraging AI to optimise workflows and scale project impact /li liAbility to travel for live events/site visits where required /li /ul pAt Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
