Job TitleField Service EngineerJob DescriptionField Service Engineer:This position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites, and generate service revenue for imaging systems (CT-MRI) within an assigned geographical area, primarily in North-West Italy, focusing on Lombardia.Your role:Build credibility and trust with customers by conducting proactive customer visits.Provide appropriate, timely, and regular communication to customers and internal stakeholders regarding customer and equipment issues.Demonstrate urgency in identifying and resolving customer issues, following the escalation process as needed.Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting commitments regarding arrival times. Understand the customer's business and competitive environment.Manage company assets effectively according to Philips processes, including labor time, parts, tools, test equipment calibration, purchase orders, equipment, vehicles, and expenditures.Be qualified to perform work in at least one modality; may be asked to become qualified in multiple modalities. Keep up-to-date with technical advances and industry trends through training.Independently resolve equipment and customer issues.You're the right fit if you have:A BA Degree or high school/vocational certification in electronics, biomedical equipment servicing/engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the electronics industry, preferably in a Health Tech environment.Experience in a technical service environment, ideally in biomedical segments.Understanding and application of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge of necessary tools and test equipment.Strong organizational skills, self-discipline, and the ability to work independently.Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve goals.Adaptability to changing work requirements in a fast-paced environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Italian.How we work togetherWe believe that we are better together.
