Overview
We are looking for an experienced candidate who will execute Installation & Commissioning (I&C) of Power Transformers to customer sites located in Italy and abroad. He or she will operate by strictly following the health, safety & environment Hitachi Energy Standard with the aim to deliver on-time and on quality meeting customers expectations.
Responsibilities
* Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents. Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business;
* Perform tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identify technical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity in installation and commissioning, site acceptance testing, routine maintenance, oil treatment etc.;
* Capability to perform Low Voltage test at site will be a plus;
* Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing work according to customer order and expectation. Maintain a good relationship with customers. Coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for installation and commissioning activities;
* Prepare all documents and report to be signed by the customer representative. Report work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed;
* Troubleshoot simple equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future;
* Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service;
Your Background
* Technical diploma;
* Good knowledge of both Italian and English;
* Experience in a similar role inside Transformers field is considered a plus;
* Ability to work independently and coordinate field technicians;
* Flexibility and problem solving skills are nice to have;
* Availability to travel mainly in Italy & Europe (90-100%).
