Description PREMISE: CVs of persons living more than 40/45 minutes away from Lugano will neither be read nor processed At our office in Lugano (CH) we have an open position for a Booking team member who will be responsible for being the first point of contact for our guests. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills' sales ability and a customer service mentality. You will be trained by our team in the head office' to answer calls and emails efficiently while still delivering a personalized solution to each guest. When needed you will assist the marketing team with extra tasks as required. Main Responsibilities - Answer booking enquiries of guests by phone and email. - Paying attention to the guest's requirements to ensure understanding of enquiries and deliver personalized travel solutions. - Give accurate information regarding availability' accommodation types' areas etc. - Providing full customer service to our guests prior to arrival and if needed during &, after - Assist Marketing- &, Accounting team when needed - Other duties as assigned in line with personal skills/interests. Requirements Background and/or experience in the tourism branch. - Fluent in English' French and/or German. Minimum requirement C1. - Knowledge of Italian/Spanish would be a +. - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Good computer skills' including the ability to type and talk while successfully navigating through multiple applications. - Interest in the travel and hospitality industry. - Flexibility to work evenings and weekend shifts.
