As a New Business Manager, you will report to the Area Sales Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire new customers, including automotive distributors, OEMs, commercial trucks, and independent body shops, in the regions of Piedmont and Lombardy.
You will achieve sales targets by developing the current customer base and presenting our Paintings and Coatings products. Your technical knowledge of paintings will help you explain the benefits of our products to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
* Develop business relationships with potential customers and convert acquisition opportunities into new clients.
* Promote and implement PPG's "Business Solution" services (e.g., body shop audit, fast repair).
* Increase and monitor the volume and quality of the existing portfolio of body shops to meet targets.
* Promote and sell PPG’s technical training courses for body shops and distributors in collaboration with the Technical Account Manager.
* Identify new commercial opportunities for our Paintings and Coatings products.
* Handle the commercial and technical follow-up for newly acquired clients.
Qualifications
* Ability to explain the characteristics of chemical painting.
* Knowledge of the automotive industry and paints/coatings products.
* Experience in commercial roles (key account or similar) with comparable products.
* Strong selling skills.
* Availability to travel within Piedmont and Lombardy.
