What we are looking for The Global Sales Data & Analytics Specialist will join our Global team of Retail Excellence, playing a key role in developing advanced analysis, machine learning models, and data visualization products. With exposure to the entire retail business, you will work to optimize sales strategies to generate new business opportunities and growth. Main activities : Work on strategically identified, cutting-edge data science use cases covering the entire sales journey. Use advanced analytics methods to extract insights from business data. Perform analysis and build data-driven models to answer business questions and needs. Create hypotheses and experiments to identify hidden relationships to guide new Sales strategies. Develop visualizations and presentations to influence key stakeholders in implementing data science recommendations. Develop machine learning models to facilitate Sales processes. Collaborate with teams across Marketing / CRM, IT, Reporting & Analytics to build shared data products, dashboards, and advanced analysis. Skills and Experience : Degree in quantitative fields such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Computing, or Engineering. At least 2-3 years of experience in data science projects, preferably in digital, customer, or retail data science, including experience in churn analytics, text analytics, customer segmentation, customer lifetime value modeling, and supporting operations. Proficient with PowerBI, SQL, Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Pytorch. Experience with large language models or data governance / quality tools is a plus. Ability to build long-lasting relationships based on trust. Experience managing external resources for model development and analysis. Open-minded to change and continuous improvement. Self-starter with a proactive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills, with excellent communication and team-building abilities. Advanced knowledge of Office, especially Excel (pivot, macro, formulas). Knowledge of code versioning and testing. Nice to have : familiarity with Dataiku and GCP tools.
