Position Overview

This role is responsible for the accurate administration and ongoing maintenance of customer and GPO agreements across commercial systems, ensuring pricing integrity, contractual compliance, and audit‑ready data at all times. Acting as a key operational anchor within Commercial Operations, the position translates contractual terms into reliable system records, controlled processes, and consistent reporting within Salesforce, Oracle, and related enterprise platforms. The role works closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure that contract data is correctly set up, maintained, and validated, supporting downstream activities such as billing, reporting, audit readiness, and compliance monitoring. A strong focus is placed on disciplined system governance, timely updates to contract and membership data, and the prevention of data quality issues that could create commercial or compliance risk.

Key Responsibilities

* Support new product roll‑outs or strategic business initiatives by ensuring proper system setup, cross‑functional process creation, and assessment of impact on contract operations; create processes or request automation to support those initiatives.
* Oversee the integrity of the pricing process in connection with customer contracts.
* Provide support to the sales team for contracting or quote generation requests as needed.
* Ensure that contract data captured in SFDC is adequate and reportable.
* Run reports to maintain data integrity of contract terms in SFDC and Oracle; support data report requests from sales or leadership, and monitor company contracted compliance clauses.
* Maintain contracted consignment inventory values in SFDC and ensure that contracts are executed for all consignment customers.
* Conduct monthly and quarterly audits for Finance and Legal to comply with external auditor requirements related to Commercial Operations functions and support audits required by customer entities such as GPOs.
* Create, maintain, and execute monthly analysis of GPO administration fees to administer accurate payments for GPO agreements.
* Self‑direct and prioritize incoming requests for contract analysis.
* Conduct analyses, develop conclusions, and communicate recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Maintain and update membership alignment in SFDC based on external data sets; recommend enhancements to enable frequent changes.
* Ensure that monthly membership lists are updated in a timely manner.
* Recommend enhancements, provide user requirements, collaborate with IT, conduct user acceptance testing, and train co‑workers on software enhancements to improve operational efficiency and sales team access to data.
* Create, monitor, support, and manage commercial, contract, and sales operations reports and dashboards in Excel, Salesforce, Oracle, and PowerBI.
* Work with the legal team to request amendments, new contracts and terminations for business needs such as new product launches, discontinuation of products, or strategic business decisions that affect contracts.
* Analyze contracts and interpret them as requested; alert management to risks related to contract compliance or legal risk.
* Partner with different stakeholders to build and streamline commercial operations processes and ensure alignment across multiple functions.
* Engage in frequent interaction with sales, finance, and commercial operations teams to assist with questions, process improvements, and complex sales flows.
* Contribute to various day‑to‑day activities and manage projects within the commercial operations team and other departments as needed.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field, an MBA, or 8+ years of directly related work experience.
* 4+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or another analytical function creating data reports and analytics.
* Fluent English required; proficiency in an additional EU language is a plus, with German preferred.
* Strong background in a multi‑disciplinary environment that requires high flexibility.
* Experience in the medical device or other life sciences industry is a plus.
* SFDC and/or Oracle experience.
* Ability to analyze and interpret contracts and communicate that to others in simple terms.
* Ability to partner with key stakeholders in driving goals.
* Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities.
* Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
* Highly organized with excellent time‑management skills and a strong attention to detail.
