Job Description Job Description Honeywell is looking for a Bid Manager for our Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) division for Cologno Monzese (MI). Your Responsibilities Coordinate Proposal & Estimation Team Efforts on assigned Opportunities from Bid-No Bid approval until Order is booked. Create and Maintain Bid Plan and Review / Update Action RAIL, coordinate follow-up calls, assign tasks and support in make them done according to Bid Plan; Assign work to team members, review their assignments and be responsible for accuracy and completeness of estimates. Provide assistance in negotiation meetings, if necessary. Responsible for Approval Process and collection of approvals documents and support on the Review Calls with upper management; Review and challenge all final estimate packages (with all functions) to ensure reach the best cost and assure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation approval. Support / prepare Proposal documentation, ensuring quality and completeness; Participate in pre-bid meetings, bid strategy and presentations meetings to Honeywell management and customers. Coordinate post-tender clarifications with Customer and proper technical workshops; Follow best practice and processes as per P&E function and Bid Management Leader indication. Perform all additional assignments as per Bid Management Leader direction. Must Have Fluency in local language and English Comprehensive understanding and experience of the Bid Management process and best practices Basic Knowledge of Project Management Methodology Technical background Demonstrated success working effectively in a deadline driven environment and to work on multiple projects / opportunities at one time Preferred Qualifications Experience in Project management Commercial Acumen Experience working in a highly matrixed organization Understands the HBS value proposition and HBS core system, such as BMS, HVAC, Security, Fire.
