In this role you help clients unlock value through deal strategy and post-deal integration insights within KPMG's advisory practice. You will work closely with lenders, shareholders and management to quantify value creation levers across pre- and post-M&A phases. You'll engage in business planning, due diligence and synergy tracking, shaping Day 1 readiness and operating models. This position offers exposure to cross-functional teams and international projects, leveraging digital tools to drive tangible outcomes.

• Support pre‐deal business and operational due diligence to inform investment decisions
• Conduct commercial due diligence and market/competitive analysis for potential targets
• Identify and track synergies across pre and post‐deal phases and implement dashboards
• Analyze and quantify synergy opportunities and monitor their realization during execution
• Define and drive Day 1 Readiness plan, D100 Integration plan, and Target Operating Model
• Collaborate with clients, lenders, and management to present actionable recommendations
• Contribute to business and strategic planning discussions with C‐level executives
• Support in post‐deal integration or separation management office activities

• 2–3 years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy/BD in industrial, consumer or retail sectors
• Master's degree in business subjects (additional data science or analytics coursework preferred)
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and xivgfpx KPIs
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Italian and English
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with data/analytics tools (Power BI and Qlik preferred)
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad
