* The work consists of assemblies of mechanical components, which support rail contact line pipelines, to be performed mainly at height aboard aerial platforms mounted on rail vehicles. It involves assembling and tightening heavy steelwork components, according to drawings and technical specifications
Specifically, the work is structured as follows.
Excavations are carried out, in which a pre-assembled cage is installed, on which anchor bolts are attached, to which a tubular lattice pole is hooked or, which is raised by means of a crane mounted on road or rail vehicles.
The work of the electric traction operator starts with raising the pole and tightening the bolts, which anchor it to the anchor bolts. After that, the pole is always attached by tightening by means of specific tools and always while standing on the aforementioned platforms of the accessories and in particular of the arms/brackets or pendulums (where instead of poles they are beams), from which the pipelines are suspended. The pipelines are positioned and tensioned by means of specific means intended for such activities.
This is done in accordance with technical specifications provided by the designers, but still according to standards of the infrastructure manager.
The construction standards are uniform on all facilities, so it is a matter of knowing them, studying them, or following the instructions of the team leaders/site managers.
